Whats meant to be will be.....
Do we live our lives though Free Will or are we controlled by an inevitable thing called Fate? I for one, believe in fate. I believe that the world has a pre destined, already made up design. Whether the design is created by a benevolant God or a series of them, there is a design. When dealing with fate one comes to the conclusion that "my life is a lie". No matter what a person may do Fate is inevitable. There becomes questions of responsibility and falt lingering in ones head. We cannot do anything about our outcome so this must mean we cannot possibly be responsible for the events in our life. This thought is not true. We are given more responsibility, but instead of for the outcome we are given responsibility for the choices made because of the pre destined outcome.Fate also gives one a purpose because even if they cannot change their destiny, they can shape their destiny. What is meant to be will be. I could say our choices along the way create the outcome but very easily making the choice could be ones destiny. Being in the certain place at a certain time could be ones fate. There could be a series of events that is meant to happen in order to layout what is necessary for the initial grand destiny. Yes i believe in free will but when it is tampered with by fate the question eases away from whether or not we have free will more to the question of how much free will do we really have when dealing with a force greater than ourselves.

Don't you have " religion" ? then how do ypu believe in fate.. do you think god controls our fate? who does this, because i for one think fate is a TOTAL PARADOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I Have religion but I dont mean it in the sense that God controls our fate but more like he has a plan in store for us. Like I believe a Fate to be more like a purpose so i see it as God has a special purpose for everyone. We make decisions along the way towards fulfilling our purpose but thats only if the first decision was choosing him. If not then you would not be going in that direction so your fate is changed. Like if you were meant to invent something important. You may not want to be a scientist maybe you chose to do hair or cosmetology but somehow happened to create something. You chose to go in a different direction but the outcome was the same. I think Fate is a paradox too. Its complicated and the more its thought about the more complicated it gets. But i dont think anyone knows the real answer to fate vs. free will its in the belief of the individual
look at my blog! i think you will understand more where i am comming from... it leaves me doubts
