The paradox that is High school, life, You

Don't you think it's a bit ironic when you spend your life finding out who your are, who your friends are, what you like, and even with no doubt what you hate then everything changes without you knowing. The things you were against you now accept even embrace and you wonder how this could have possibly happened when you thought your mind was set and you come to the realization...HIGH SCHOOL.
High school should be like a crucible. It melts away everything else til whats left is the core, what you're really made of. Instead it's a place where things get added on with layers and layers til you wouldn't know where to start to find the core. Rather than finding yourself you fight more trying not to backslide and become lost.
Can anybody really say "This is me" or are we blinded by the allusion of what people think we should be or what we changed into. The type of people you hate are now the ones who surround you. Most did not start out that way but now have morphed into what they think is a better person but when you think about it they used to talk about how they didn't understand the people they are now imitating. You find yourself doing things that are against your belief just because your friends are. High school is a non stop paradox.
I wouldn't know what i measure my life in because as far as I'm concerned who knows if its real. But i guess i would say i measure my life in my morals, goals, and the things that make me who I am.

HaHa Alright i have to admit this one was a bit random but it does relate if you let me explain. Its not really music themed but it does explain me. I think its pretty much saying you can be as stable and normal as you want to be but there is still a possibility for just "being out there". I would say I'm normal but alot of people would probably disagree. I consider some of the stuff that's in my mind or even that comes out my mouth madness but who says thats a bad thing. I understand alot just things other people dont. Lol. I can be crazy( again in a Good way) but still stable.

Also of anyone wants to hear my theory about that here you go. Everyone is crazy. I say this because If you are sane you are normal stable if you will. But thats makes you in the state of sanity. Putting it together would say you are In-Sane...insane. What does insane mean...Crazy! See i make sense it just takes awhile sometimes. : )

Oh wait i came up with something. To be able to produce good music is stable more or less borderline talent. But to produce truly great music that is almost considered an artistic revolution that is madness.

I believe its important for people to keep their individuality no matter what anyone else thinks because if you tried to be like everyone else you just wouldnt be you. So instead of trying to blend in i try to stand out. Not in a way as if to say Look At Me but in a way that just expresses who i am. People will always have something to say so you might as well give them something to talk about.

As for difference in opinion if there is a way of looking at something there will always be someone looking at it differently. The great thing about that is it can never get boring because if everyone has a new way of looking at it then you cant get bored with the same idea. You can just take a step back look at it their way and find they may have come across something bigger than you had imagined. I believe with all the different ways of thinking there does come a time when everything comes together in one accord without necessarily becoming the same but just as one. Also i just wouldn't be me if i didn't relate it to music so here you go. Life is just what i said alot of different people, thoughts, and experiences coming together as one. Music is different beats, harmonics, melodies, and thoughts coming together as one. Do you see a resemblance between the two? Thats right how i view it they're the same.

But that's just one way of looking at it.

I love these qoutes basically because they tell of the importance of music and the true beauty of a simple harmony. A single note can express a never ending series of thoughts and emotions that are all different depending on how or even who is listening. This relates to me because music is a big part of my life better yet music is my life. Whether its the smoothe stylings of a slow jam, the soul in R&B, the banging beat of a hot rap, wild atmosphere you get with rock, or even the secure love and memories of sunday morning with mom that you get from Gospel i just cant seem to choose. Theres music in my heart, soul, and every step i take. Without it i would probably be lost.
